Wealth Tax Help Please

I have been told that the wealth tax has been scrapped, but i have just recieved a reciept for payment of this years tax from the bank. I am confused as to whether this is correct should i still be paying the tax.
I live in the uk and have a property in La Mata, we are intending to move to Spain in September and become residents will this affect the amount of tax that i pay?

Wealth Tax

The Wealth tax will be abolished but not the IRPF (Spanish Income tax). However, at present the wealth tax and the income tax are in force and you should settle the tax corresponding to the previous year.

Regarding the obtaining of the Fiscal Residency in Spain, it will not cause you any detriment with regard to the mentioned abolition, as it will be the same for all the taxpayers.
