I have an appt. in Torrevieja since 2004, it has been rented out on long term lets all this time to different tennants. In January 2008 the present tennant stopped paying the rent saying he had hurt his back and could not work so he could not pay the rent. He said he would be able to work soon and that he would pay all the rent he owed but this never happened. There was no rent paid for the whole of 2008 and electric and water charges have been coming out of my bank account. The tennant is not living in the appt. but he is sub letting it to friends of his. We have had the police up to the appt but
they say the original rental contract with the tennant had so many loopholes in it the tennant could stay there for up to 5 years. We cut off the electric and water but they have somehow managed to get the electric switched back on.I am at my wits end and have no idea what to do next any help or advice would be much appreciated
