Trembita Choir Concert

Don’t miss the concert of the Trembita Choir, from Lviv (Ukraine) and participant in the International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest of Torrevieja.

The concert will take place in the Rodeo Caves of Rojales on Friday, July 24, at 10:00 p.m.

The habanera is a musical genre of Cuban origin that reached a great diffusion in the ports of the Mediterranean during the nineteenth century. Choral polyphony, on the other hand, brings together several independent voices that intertwine to create a rich and expressive harmony, constituting one of the most outstanding forms of choral music.

The Trembita Choir is one of the most prestigious choral formations in Ukraine. Based in the city of Lviv, he develops an intense artistic activity both at home and abroad, performing a wide repertoire that includes sacred music, classical works, contemporary compositions and traditional Ukrainian music.

Their participation in the International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest of Torrevieja, considered one of the most important choral meetings in the world, highlights the high artistic level of the group and its international recognition.
