Exhibition “Mirages”, by Karla Solano

The Costa Rican artist Karla Solano presents her exhibition “Mirages”, a photographic exhibition included in the program of the VI Photography Conference “City of Orihuela” – Fotomatón Festival

The exhibition can be visited from September 18 to October 18, 2026 at the Miguel Hernández Exhibition Hall in Orihuela.

The exhibition brings together a selection of the work of Karla Solano, recognized for an artistic career linked especially to self-portraiture and the exploration of the relationship between the body, nature and the environment. Through photography, the artist constructs images of a poetic and symbolic nature that invite the viewer to reflect on identity, perception and connection with the space that surrounds us.

“Mirages” proposes a visual journey in which reality and fiction are intertwined, creating scenes full of sensitivity and meaning. Solano’s images explore different forms of representation of the body and nature, proposing an intimate and suggestive look that transforms the everyday into a visual and emotional experience.
