RODEARTE October 2026 in Rojales: workshops, forró and live music

Rodearte returns to the Rodeo Caves with craft workshops, forró dance and live music for all audiences.

The conference will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 10:00 a.m., with free access and activities spread throughout the cave-workshops.

Rodearte October 2026 proposes a new morning of art, crafts, dance and music in the Rodeo Caves of Rojales. This artistic and craft meeting, which is usually held on the first Sunday of each month, allows you to visit the cave-workshops, meet their creators and discover different trades in one of the most unique cultural spaces in the Vega Baja.

The caves and workshops will open to the public from 10:00 a.m. From 11:30 a.m . there will be free participatory demonstrations and workshops on recycling, lathe and goldsmithing, indicated on the map of the enclosure in caves 2, 12 and 13. The proposals are aimed at all ages.

Forró nas Cavernas: the dance of the embrace

The program includes the Forró nas Cavernas festival, dedicated to Brazilian music and dance. Forró was born among the popular and rural classes of northeastern Brazil and has evolved as a social dance of encounter, known as “the dance of the embrace”. Its welcoming nature has made it an open proposal both to those who already practice it and to those who want to discover it for the first time.

There will be two workshops: at 10:00 a.m., with Sara and Marcio, and at 12:00 p.m., with Agnes and Dani. The day will also feature the participation of Dúo Brasilidades, which will bring the rhythms and sounds of Brazil closer to the public.

Prometheus Concert

Live music will arrive at 12:00 p.m . with the concert of Prometeo. The band will present its proposal “Music for the planet” on the stage of the Cuevas del Rodeo, joining a morning in which artisanal creation, Brazilian culture and live performances will coexist.
