Exhibition “Installations and Sculptures”

Alicante Mateos presents an individual artistic proposal that invites us to reflect on the relationship between the human being, the environment and contemporary social processes, through a committed and experimental plastic language.

The exhibition can be visited from April 5 to 27, 2026 at the Mengolero Exhibition Hall, Cuevas del Rodeo, Rojales.

The exhibition brings together works that combine sculpture and installation, using various materials – in many cases recycled – and processes of minimal intervention. Her work addresses themes such as the environment, the transformation of the landscape and cultural memory, generating pieces that appeal to both the aesthetic sensibility and the critical consciousness of the viewer.

Each work proposes a space for dialogue where the material and the conceptual are intertwined, inviting us to interpret, question and connect with current problems from a contemporary artistic perspective.
