Paquito D’Rivera, Latin jazz legend and multiple Grammy Award winner, presents a vibrant show that celebrates his extraordinary musical career, combining talent, energy and emotion in every note.
The concert will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. at the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena.
Clarinetist, saxophonist, and composer, D’Rivera has pioneered the fusion of jazz, classical music, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Founder of the legendary group Irakere and an essential figure in the evolution of international jazz, he has shared the stage with artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Bebo Valdés, Yo-Yo Ma and Chick Corea. His work, recognized both in America and in Europe, is synonymous with musical excellence and creativity without borders.
This show covers some of his most popular compositions, classics of the Latin American repertoire and jewels of jazz with an ensemble of exceptional musicians who accompany him in this sound festival.
