Immerse yourself in the excitement and romance of the Mediterranean with Marina, one of the most emblematic zarzuelas in the Spanish repertoire, which tells a story of unconfessed love between fishermen, marked by jealousy, pride and misunderstandings.
The performance will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja.
The public will be able to enjoy some of the most famous musical pages of the genre, such as the well-known romance “Costas las de Levante”, together with intense romantic duets and vibrant seafaring choirs that evoke life on the Mediterranean coast.
The staging will feature the performance of the Vinalopó Symphony Orchestra, under the musical direction of José Antonio Pérez Botella and with the work of the master concertmaster Christian A. Lindsey. The stage direction will be in charge of María Ruiz, with set design by Juan Seguí and Pedro Espadero, costumes by Dalila Colombo, J.M. Morán Berruti, Carmen Omist and Encarna Cerdá, and makeup by Ana Ramírez. The creative and executive production is in charge of Nacho Hernández and Pepe Crespo.
