Never been to Torrevieja but would love to go [love the cams of Playa del Cura] .
When you get to Alicante airport where do I catch the bus to Torrevieje / How much one way and any details that would help / Does the bus service run out of the Summer season. Finally any suggestions on where to stop, hotel, appartments??
The bus stop is situated upstairs right outside the door to the right as you go out. It’s 14€ and it doesn’t stop until it gets to the centre bus station. It runs on the hour until 9 pm that’s the last bus. In the morning in every hour but in the afternoon it’s 2 hours. But you can Google to confirm. You buy the ticket on the bus but going to the airport you have to buy a ticket at the kiosk in the bus station.
Pisałem zawsze, że Torrevieja zasługuje na dobrą kamerę. Było to w czasach kiedy jedyna kamera była przy restauracji obok pomnika Rybaka na początku promenady. Teraz miasto ma kilka dobrze umiejscowionych kamer, z widokiem na promenadę i leżących obok niej, pięknych miejskich plaż. W Torrevieja jest zaczarowane miejsce z widokiem na Plac Konstytucji i znadujące się tam obiekty, zabytkowa katedra, miejski ratusz, itd. Jednak sam Plac Konstytucji gromadzi przekrój miejskiej społeczności, bez względy na kolor cery, wyznania, poglądy, ect. Tutaj królują dzieci, ich śmiech i wrzaski nikomu nie przeszkadzają i nie umiejszają powagi miejsca. Zacięte mecze piłkarskie, są obserwowane z uwagą przez seniorów miejscowej społeczności. Tutaj prezentowana jest Bożonarodzeniowa piękna szopka betlejemska, tutaj sa trybuny honorowe i dla komisji konkursowych ocenajacych uczestników parad karnawałowych, tutaj można podziwiać występy artystyczne, tutaj ruszą uroczyste procesje z Kościoła Niepokolanego Poczęcia – (kto nie uczestniczył w tym świecie dużo stracił – zjawisko tej miejscowej tradycji jest trudne do opisania, a dla katolików wielkie duchowe przeżycie), etc. Uroku temu miejscu dodają zabytkowe kamienice dawnego Ratusza, kawiarenki, małe sklepiki, które w wielu miasatch zostały wyparte przez wielkopłaszyznowe markety, a także zawsze pięknie strojona na każdą porę roku lub miejskie wydarzenie kwiaciarnia. Autorzy tych dekoracji zawsze pozostawiają miejsce dla osób zabierających z miasta pamiątkę w postacji fotografii – (jeżeli dobrze przytoczę to Floristería en Torrevieja – Martí) Plac Konstytucji w Torrevieja to baśniowy zakątek tego miasta i jego społeczności, chętnie odwiedzany przez turystów buszujących po sklepach w godzinach wieczonych i nocnych.
Miejsce to moze być prawdziwą wizytówką miasta które z każdym rokiem staje się piękniejsze. Potrzebna jest w tym miejscu kamera, ale w mojej ocenie sponsorem tej “inwestycji” powinna być Rada Miejska miasta Torrevieja. Może to być także inwestycja mająca wielu sponsorów i osób cieszących się postępującym rozwojem miasta Torrevieja.
Coming out end of May to pick up our keys to our ne apartment hopefully. Can’t wait to explore the area a bit more. Will be keeping an eye on the webcams until then.

my wife and myself love the promenade, love to walk its length, I brought a kick scooter to keep up with my wife as she has an electric scooter. love to swim in the sea, in fact we love the area sooooo much that we brought a house in Algorfa this year.
we shall be back in our property at the start of February and will make sure that we wave to our family from the keepers Bar while having a “Few” Beers.
We are visiting Torrevieja in february 2023. Our holiday is 3 weeks. Hope we can take a bath in the see also.
This autumn we also have been on a long trip in Germany, France and Spain this autumn, with 5 weeks at camping Alicante Imperium just outside La Vila Joiosa. We look forward to 3 weeks in Torrevieja, and I will check this webcam regurarly!

I’ve been looking at the keeper bar webcam for about 6-7 years, my son and his mate went about 5 years ago and I’d told him about it, so we arranged a day and time and sat waving and talking on the phone, it’s such a good idea, and now the one over the beach is amazing, what happened to the one from the side of the beach restaurant.
Fantastic Webcam great angle on the seafront and links in very well with the Keeper webcam and if you’ve never been to Torrevijca put it on yir bucket list

Haven’t been to Torrevieja in many years, the view is stunning.
One day soon I will hopefully come over.
The city has grown a lot, but the beaches are still just as beautiful.
I been watching the last few days, its been stormy seas which i love to watch, its a complete contrast to sunny days. 🙂
During the month of February, we are having several days without sun, although the temperature is quite pleasant (between 12 and 15 degrees).
What an amazing view, just watching the waves crashing….beautiful.

It’s a way to keep in touch with people who have links with the city of Torrevieja and are living far away from here.
The El Tintero restaurant webcam is temporarily offline for technical reasons.
We hope to be able to start it up again by the time the 2023 season begins or find another location with a beautiful view of the town.
