Who can forget the famous lounges and terraces of the old restaurant known as El Pescador, in the Doña Sinforosa gardens, just next to the Acequión beach?

Many weddings, gastronomic days, political & social events and all Diego Ramírez Pastor prizes have been celebrated there since their start.

The second phase of the restaurant El Pescador began in the year 1999. The 80’s and 90’s have been left behind, decades after which the first generation of the Alvarez Hervás family had to move their experience and savoir faire to the heart of Torrevieja, to warmer and cosier premises not far from the seafront promenade and behind the tourist office.

With a capacity for 120 guests in total distributed among their inner lounge and its nice urban terrace, located at the emblematic pedestrian street known as Torrevejenses Ausentes, this restaurant offers a high quality traditional Mediterranean dishes, among them and specially their famous paellas.

Thanks to the long experience of this family in Torrevieja’s catering industry –over 50 years-, they have been granted the biggest prize you can obtain in Torrevieja, the Golden Fork (Tenedor de oro).

Acknowledgements:
•    1990. Qualified as one of the best restaurants in Spain by the Campsa gastronomic guide.
•    1996. Acknowledgement by the jury of the 25th edition of the Diego Ramírez Pastor prize thanks to its cooperation with these prizes since their beginning.
•    2012. Golden Fork Price. The biggest prize granted by the Torrevieja’s and regional hospitality association.
•    2017 – 2ªEdición “Nos vamos de tapas”: Premio popular a la mejor tapa (Bombón de aguacate relleno de frutos del mar).

lobster rice (Arroz con bogavante), seafood cauldron (Caldero), salt-baked sea bass (Lubina a la sal), pil-pil cod (Bacalao al pil-pil),…
