HOMEWORKING IN SPAIN - WOULD IT WORK?

Hi,

I am a development manager for a HomeWorking Network in the UK. We take order entry calls and customer service calls for large global, blue chips companies for the comfort of our own homes, no commuting, great flexibility, and good fair salaries.

I used to work abroad for one of the major tour operators, and always said that I would like to return to live in Spain.

I have recently speaking to my MD, about taking our company to spain to open up opportunities there. Do you think that British people would be interested in working for a UK company, working from thier own apartments or villas????

I think it would be a great solution to the sometimes difficult job situation in Spain. All that is needed is a dedicated landline and broadband connection.

Please let me know your thoughts, it really is something that I feel would work well, but you are there and I'm here, so your comments would be appreciated. If you want to know more or have any questions feel free to email me. We are in the process of conducting research. should this research prove to be successful I hope to bring HomeWorking opportunites to Spain, starting in the Costa Blanca early 2008.

The Website shows you who we are and what we do, and allows you to register your interest, so that we can keep you up to date with the project and also let people know when we have firm positions to offer.

I have to say that I have posted this on several forums, but the responses I have received already in less that 24 hours from members of this forum has been overwhelming. Thank you for all your emails and please keep them coming your advice, comments and support really are invaluable.

This is a project that will really help many expats in the Costa Blanca.

You can use the free classifieds on this website to advertise your employers' website. Best not to do it in the non-commercial forums.

The company name appeared on another forum "anglo info" at least 4 weeks ago so there is nothing fishy about my posting at all. Can I suggest you look at some of my postings on that web site.

The company name is Sensee and they have their own web site, I would look it up if you are interested in genuine work.

I only post genuine items because I am an ex-pat looking for work in Spain just like many more, and I happen to believe that this project could be a major success.

I know people in the UK working for this company and it is 100% genuine.

Hi.

I understand you being scepticle Mazzer. I simply didn't put the company name, as I didn't want this to be viewed that I was advertising the company, I was really looking for feedback, advice and comments.

However everyone who has emailed me today I will be contacting this evening with an email and the details of the companies website where they will be able to find out who we are, what we do, and if they wish to be kept up to date with the progress of the project they can complete a registration of interest form so we can send them regular updates and also inform people of any future positions that may become available. This maybe in sales, customer service, IT, recruitment, admin, team managers etc.

There have been many scams associated with HomeWorking in the past, however I assure you our company is genuine, Limited and with the backing of a major organistation.

I beleive there is a huge bank of skilled people in the Costa Blanca of all ages and experience that are struggling to find work. This opportunity would mean a regular income, flexibility to work around your lifestyle, and the security of a contract.

There are three areas we are looking into:

1. The people side - which is why I am asking these questions and asking people to register their interest.

2. The Legal side - which we are looking into - tax - employment laws - documentation required etc

3. The Broadband and Telecoms side - This would be vital to our operation.

We are not just looking for people to be positive, we are looking for the negatives too, so that if we do go ahead with the project, something ugly doesn't jump out and surprise us. If we know about something negative in advance we can look for a solution and possibly prepare for it. So any feedback at all GOOD BAD OR INDIFFERENT is welcome.

If you would like look into our company I would openly encourage you to do so. We have nothing to hide.

We are simply looking for a good solid work group, who have experience and the discipline to work from home. And from the research we have done so far, it seems that the Costa Blanca is a good place for us to start as there seems to be a wealth of people who are looking for an opportunity to work with the security of a contract.

As someone else posted this is not a get rich quick scheme. It is hard work for a decent salary, nothing more nothing less.

I am glad that you have taken a look at the website. People have every right to be sceptical, there are too many scams out there, and you do need to do your research. But I am proud to say that we are no one of them.

Following meetings I have had here in the UK yesterday and today it has now been decided that we are going to try to get the pilot group up and running before xmas.

The pilot group would be made up of people who have outbound sales experience for this particular client. It will allow us to test our technology in Spain and if it proves to be successful then this should give us the green light to open up our Spanish operation very soon.

So if outbound sales is your thing, it would be great if you could get involved in the pilot.
