Hi
I understand that EBT is (or soon) not in spain anymore...
so hope us mere mortals can help you out.
me being picky...noone makes a 1.9m dish,....the official spec sheets say that they are 1.8...but even then the actual reflector is 1.79, but with the ri,m it is about 1.85,...but some installers say 1.9 as it sounds bigger than a 1.8 and makes you think you are getting more for your money.
first question: have your tried the connection without going into your ONDA and loop thru? this will also ensure the amstrad is working OK.
second question: do you turn off your ONDA and you are using your Amstrad: if you do not then your sky box will only be able to use the same frequency that the ONDA is looking at..ie if the ONDA is on Sky news (12207), then the sky box will only be able to use the same frequency (12207). therefore you must turn off your ONDA if you want to use the loop thu and use your amstrad
WARNING: having two receivers , both powered on, conencted to each other, to the LNB may also caused damage to receivers and LNB's.
if you already have all four outputs of your quad LNB used, you cannot connect a fifth receiver to the system....you will need a quatro LNB and a multiswitch system to increase the number of outputs.
hope this helps....
