Exhibition “The Journey to Light”

The exhibition “The Journey to Light” proposes a fascinating journey through the history of the universe, from the origin of the cosmos to the extraordinary solar eclipses that can be seen from Spain between 2026 and 2028.

The exhibition can be visited from July 8 to August 31, 2026 at the María Moliner Municipal Library in Orihuela.

The exhibition combines scientific dissemination and visual resources to bring astronomy closer to all audiences in a didactic and enjoyable way.

Through information panels, images and interactive content, visitors will be able to discover how the universe was formed after the Big Bang, learn about the evolution of stars and galaxies and understand the fundamental role of light in the study of the cosmos and the exploration of space.

In addition, the exhibition dedicates a prominent space to the great solar eclipses of 2026, 2027 and 2028, an exceptional astronomical event that will make the Iberian Peninsula one of the best places in the world for observation in the coming years.
