The artist Gonzalo de Amarante Costa presents his new painting exhibition, “The Time Capsules”, in Rojales. The exhibition can be visited in the Mengolero Room of the Cuevas del Rodeo, one of the most unique cultural spaces in the Vega Baja.
The proposal invites us to reflect on memory, the passage of time and the way in which images can preserve experiences, emotions and fragments of an era. The visual language of the exhibition combines a contemporary look with the pictorial sensibility that characterizes the work of its author.
Gonzalo de Amarante Costa develops series of watercolors and gouache on paper and cardboard. His recent career in Rojales includes the exhibition “50 Watercolors” at the Mengolero Gallery, and now he returns to the Cuevas del Rodeo with a collection focused on the relationship between art, memory and time.
