Exhibition “Complicity”
The photographer Sasha Asensio presents his exhibition “Complicity”, an exhibition of portrait photography that brings together a selection of images resulting from his encounters with people in different spaces and urban contexts.
The exhibition can be visited until October 18, 2026 at the “María Moliner” Municipal Library in Orihuela.
The exhibition presents a selection of portraits in which the photographer explores the relationship between the gaze, identity and the encounter with the other. Through direct and spontaneous photography, Asensio approaches his protagonists from closeness and naturalness, capturing gestures, looks and attitudes that reflect the diversity and uniqueness of each person.
Sasha Asensio’s career is closely linked to street photography and portraiture, especially through her work developed over years in Barcelona and in neighbourhoods such as El Raval. Her work focuses on people and realities that usually remain far from conventional gazes, questioning established canons and vindicating human diversity.
