Today traditional Christmas carols have been sung in the Plaza de la Constitución
The Royal British Legion Band, conducted by David Last, is made up mainly of retired British musicians and residents of Torrevieja.
The Crescendo choir and the singers Stevie Spit, Lucía España and Shani Ormiston also took part.

Today Friday, December 10th dozens of people of different nationalities, but mainly British and Scandinavian, gathered for the 19th edition of the Carols Concert in English, called Carols in the Square, which has been held in Torrevieja since 2002.
The attendance of the public was quite low compared to previous years because the Plaza de la Constitución was too small for the hundreds of international residents from all over the Vega Baja who normally attend this event, although many of them still dressed up as Father Christmas.
