Documentary exhibition “José Ángel Ezcurra and the Triunfo Magazine”

The documentary exhibition “José Ángel Ezcurra and the Triunfo Magazine”, an exhibition dedicated to the figure of the journalist and editor from Oriola, José Ángel Ezcurra, founder and director of the emblematic magazine Triunfo, one of the most influential cultural and thought publications in contemporary Spain.

The exhibition can be visited until June 30, 2026 on the ground floor of the State Public Library and Historical Archive “Fernando de Loazes” in Orihuela.

The exhibition brings together a selection of documents from Ezcurra’s personal archive, preserved in the Historical Archive of Orihuela, which allow us to review his professional career and discover the importance of Triunfo as a space for reflection, culture and intellectual commitment for several decades.

Through original correspondence, copies of the magazine, photographs and various bibliographic and graphic documents, the exhibition offers a unique vision of the legacy of José Ángel Ezcurra and the relationships he maintained with prominent writers, artists, historians and intellectuals of his time.

Visiting hours:
Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
In addition, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (except holidays).
