EXPOSURE TO THE INVISIBLE OR THE RESISTANCE OF BEAUTY

Exhibition “The Invisible or the Resistance of Beauty”

The Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre hosts the new exhibition by the artist Fran Berbel, a project that invites us to explore the border between the visible and the intuitive through twenty works where matter breathes, transforms and suggests what is not always visible to the naked eye.

The exhibition can be visited until January 6, 2026 in the exhibition hall of the center itself.

Presented at an opening ceremony presided over by the Councilor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, and accompanied by various authorities and cultural representatives, the exhibition opens a space for contemplation where forms emerge and fade, calling for a slow and sensitive gaze. Jaime Manuel Aniorte Cánovas was in charge of introducing the artist’s creative universe, underlining the poetic force that beats in his work.

In this project, Berbel proposes a resistance to the accelerated pace of the contemporary world: stop, listen to the color and let beauty reveal itself without haste. Each piece functions as a threshold towards the intimate and the ineffable, reminding us that the essential usually remains hidden until the gaze calms down.

Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
