Exhibition “The Mines of Wielizcka”

The Vista Alegre room presents the exhibition “The Wielizcka Mines”, which offers a journey through the history and cultural richness of the famous Polish salt mines, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The exhibition can be visited until January 9, 2026 in the Vista Alegre Exhibition Hall.

Curated by the managing body of the Wielizcka mines, the exhibition presents information panels and educational materials that bring the public closer to the fascinating underground world of salt exploitation. The exhibition allows you to learn about the history of the mines and reflect on the relationship between industrial heritage, art and culture.

Visitors will be able to enjoy an educational and sensory tour that combines history, heritage and creativity, offering a cultural experience accessible to all.

Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with free admission until full capacity is reached.
