Habaneras for a sunset

The Maestro Ricardo Lafuente Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Aurelio Martínez López, will offer a recital dedicated to the habanera, one of the most emblematic musical genres rooted in the cultural tradition of the Mediterranean coast.

The performance will take place on Saturday, May 23, at 8:00 p.m., at the Museum of the Huerta de Rojales.

The Maestro Ricardo Lafuente Choir and Orchestra is one of the most representative formations of Torrevieja and is dedicated to preserving and disseminating the legacy of the Torrevieja composer Ricardo Lafuente Aguado, an undisputed reference of the habanera and choral music.

With a repertoire focused on this genre so linked to the seafaring tradition of the Mediterranean, the concert promises an evening full of emotion and musical beauty in a unique setting such as the Huerta Museum.
