The VIII Rodeo Film Fest is an international short film festival that has established itself as a meeting point for independent cinema and new audiovisual voices.
The festival will take place from August 26 to 29, 2026, with a program focused on the screening of fiction, documentary and animation short films.
This event has established itself as an exhibition space for emerging and professional filmmakers, promoting works with diverse themes that include social cinema, equality, diversity and audiovisual experimentation, as well as encouraging the participation of the public in the evaluation of the selected works.
The festival culminates with a closing gala in which the awards are presented to the best short films of each edition, becoming a meeting point between creators, the public and the local cultural environment.
