Exhibition “Echoes of 27: Pictorial and Poetic Regeneration”

The artist Pedro Juan Rabal presents the painting exhibition “Echoes of ’27: Pictorial and Poetic Regeneration”, an exhibition that establishes a dialogue between pictorial creation and poetry based on the influence and cultural legacy of the Generation of ’27.

The exhibition can be visited from September 21 to October 30, 2026 at the Municipal Archaeological and Paleontological Museum of Rojales.

The exhibition proposes a journey through the work of Pedro Juan Rabal through a contemporary look at the creative universe of the Generation of ’27. Under the concept of “pictorial and poetic regeneration“, the artist recovers echoes of that cultural movement to reinterpret them from the language of painting.

Through his paintings, Pedro Juan Rabal proposes a personal approach to that legacy, exploring the possibilities of the image as a form of evocation, dialogue and reinterpretation. The exhibition invites the viewer to recognize these “echoes” of the past and, at the same time, to discover how they can acquire new meanings from a current artistic perspective.
