UMT & Johan De Meli

The Torrevieja Musical Union presents the world premiere of the version for tuba and band of Canticles, a work that combines the richness of band music with the unique expressiveness of the solo tuba.

The performance will take place at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Canticles is performed by the UMT with the special participation of composer and guest conductor Johan De Meli and tuba soloist Samuel Hernández Imbernón, under the direction of Carlos Ramón Pérez.

A musical experience that highlights the versatility of the tuba and the strength of the band in a concert full of emotion and virtuosity.

Tickets are available for €7 at the theatre box office.
