Monserrat Martí Caballé Concert

Next February 2nd at 8 pm at the Torrevieja Theater, an Opera and Zarzuela concert performed by the Torrevieja Youth Symphony Orchestra will take place, conducted by Adolfo Arronis Ruiz, and with Monserrat Martí Caballe (soprano) and Luis Santana (baritone) as special guests.

Monserrat Martí Caballé was born in Barcelona and is the daughter of the Spanish tenor Bernabé Martí and the soprano Monserrat Caballé. She made her debut in the Opera at the Staatsoper in Hamburg as Zerlina in “Don Giovanni”. In the last seasons she has performed “La Clemenza di Tito” at the Gran Teatro del Liceo and the Palau de la Música in Valencia, Massenet’s “La Vièrge” at the Théatre Impérial in Compiègne, among others.

Luis Santana began studying music at five, he studied with great Maestros such as Juana Peñalver, Consuelo Barrio, María Teresa Manzano, Miguel Zanetti… He has performed in the most important Halls and Theatres in our country and Europe: Gran Teatro del Liceo, Auditorio Nacional de Música, Cervantes de Málaga, Miguel Delibes, Romea de Murcia and cities such as Paris, Rome or Napoli among others.
