With the new measures, the meetings of non-cohabitants in homes are prohibited and large cities will have their perimeter closed during weekends and bank holidays.
According to this measure, it will not be possible to enter another home unless you live there except for exceptions such as raising or caring for the elderly, work or institutional meetings and activities in the educational field.
Regarding public space, whether they are closed or open-air spaces, family or social gatherings will be limited to a maximum of two people, unless they live together.
Likewise, it also decrees the municipal perimeter closure of cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants during weekends and bank holidays.
The closure of towns and cities of more than 50,000 occupants will be applied from three in the afternoon on Friday until six in the morning of the following Monday.
The new limitations take effect today, Monday, January 25th, and will remain in effect until February 15th.
This limitation will affect the cities of Alicante, Elche, Torrevieja, Orihuela and Benidorm among others.
The new decree also includes the ongoing perimeter closure of the Valencian Community, which will be extended until February 15th.
