Welcome back
Nice to see you are back to contradict what SKY the BBC and everyone else claims as to broadcast, reception and pubs showing content that is not allowed for distribution through channels not approved by the rights holder. You may also have noticed that very few pubs show films, even though these could be purchased from the local Asian population for only a few bucks, as they DO understand that they have no license to run a 'cinema'. The same rules applies to football and sports, NOT legal to show unless you have purchased the right.
Now you have some pity on bar owners trying to make ends meet. The problem is that it is impossible to compete with others using ILLEGAL methods to attract customers. What is going to be very sad, is when their property suddenly is sized, their licenses revoked and their hard work is auctioned off, as a result of not following rules as the grip from the authorities will slowly be tighter. Especially now, as the local councils have less and less money, due to falling sales and prices of property, they will get CONSTRUCTIVE as to issuing fines and new creative rules.
I do understand that there is much money to be made by providing this. In a way you can compare it with the good old English tradition of smuggling. And like with untaxed tobacco, I understand that people want it. As we speak, I understand that you can get English TV with a mini-dish pointing at the "Solaris - 20" satellite and a BS-S100 Premium Xspeed box for less than 80 euros and no monthly fee. However I can not advice people in how to acquire this, as I would then be giving advice on how to break the law, and held responsible for this.
