Sign your little ones up for exciting children’s workshops in the courtyard of the municipal library of Torrevieja
During the months of July and August 2023, the courtyard of the municipal library “Carmen Jalón” will become the scene of an exciting series of workshops for the little ones.
These activities, designed to entertain and educate, will cover a wide range of topics ranging from cooking and magic to prehistory, art, recycling, comics and creative experimentation.
Every Thursday, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., children will have the opportunity to participate in these fun and free activities.

Below, we present the exciting program of workshops that will take place!
- Thursday, July 6: Slime and crafts workshop. Children can unleash their creativity while learning to create their own slime and make fun crafts.
- Thursday, July 13: Master Chef Day. The little chefs will enjoy a unique culinary experience, where they can demonstrate their skills in the kitchen and learn fun recipes.
- Thursday, July 20: Magic Day. The courtyard of the library will be filled with illusions and amazing tricks on this day dedicated to magic.
- Thursday, July 27: Prehistory Workshop. Travel back in time and discover the fascinating world of dinosaurs and cavemen. Participants will learn about prehistory in a playful and didactic way.
- Thursday, August 3: Art Day. A day dedicated to artistic expression, where children can experiment with different techniques and materials to create their own masterpieces.
- Thursday, August 10: Create your monster. In this workshop, children will let their imagination run wild and design and create their own unique monsters.
- Thursday, August 17: Recycling workshop. The importance of caring for the environment will be in the spotlight in this workshop, where participants will learn how to reuse materials and create useful objects from recycled elements.
- Thursday, August 24: Comic Book Day. Comic book lovers will be able to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of comics and create their own vignettes and characters.
- Thursday, August 31: Creative experimentation workshop. In the last session of the children’s workshops, children will be able to experiment with different forms of creative expression, from painting to music.
