Anders Boye Knudsen Quartet

The Anders Boye Knudsen Quartet presents a contemporary jazz proposal in which improvisation is fused with melodies inspired by Scandinavian folklore, giving rise to a personal, evocative and nuanced sound.

The concert will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cultural Center of Ciudad Quesada, in Rojales.

Anders Boye Knudsen is a Danish double bass player and composer, trained between Denmark and Spain. His music reflects a clear interest in building bridges between cultures, integrating the Nordic tradition with the language of modern jazz. In addition to her facet as a performer, she develops an intense pedagogical and creative work in different international projects.

The quartet is made up of high-level musicians who bring sound richness and dynamism to the proposal, with an instrumentation that includes double bass, piano, saxophone and drums. Together they perform original compositions that alternate melodic and rhythmic passages and spaces open to improvisation.

This concert is part of the XIX Festival “Music without Borders” of Rojales.
