Concert: UMT & BCN Clarinet Players

The Torrevieja Musical Union will present a concert in the company of Barcelona Clarinet Players, one of the most prestigious chamber music groups internationally

The concert is scheduled for June 22, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja

The Barcelona Clarinet Playeras (BCP) is an internationally renowned clarinet quartet, made up of Alejandro Castillo, Javier Vilaplana, Martí Guasteví and Manuel Martínez. They have more than a decade of musical experience and have collaborated with renowned artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Arturo Márquez, Daniel Freiberg, Óscar Navarro and Enric Palomar.

For its part, the Torrevieja Musical Union (UMT) is one of the most emblematic cultural institutions in Torrevieja, with a great history dating back to the mid-nineteenth century. The UMT plays a central role in the cultural life of Torrevieja, participating in local festivities and significant events.

In this event, both groups will perform together and perform two original works composed especially for this occasion.
