Esther Ciudad Capdevila

The organist and musicologist Esther Ciudad Capdevila offers a recital that will highlight the sound and expressive richness of the organ, through representative works of the European repertoire.

The concert will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. in the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Torrevieja.

Esther Ciudad Capdevila is one of the most outstanding Spanish organists of her generation. Born in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza), she has developed a solid career as a performer, musicologist and cultural manager.

She has performed at important festivals and prestigious venues in Spain and Europe, and was the first woman organist at La Seo de Zaragoza. Her career combines concert performance with research and the dissemination of organ heritage, work that she also develops as a teacher and organizer of cultural projects.

This concert inaugurates the fifth edition of the International Organ Festival “Ciudad de Torrevieja”.
