Free watercolor classes in Rojales with Gonzalo de Amarante Costa

Learn to paint with watercolor in Rojales from the artist Gonzalo de Amarante Costa.

The classes are free and will be held on Tuesdays 6, 13 and 20 October 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at La Cueva de Rojales.

Rojales proposes three afternoons dedicated to watercolour with the artist Gonzalo de Amarante Costa. The sessions are designed to approach this pictorial technique, practice the use of water and colour and develop a personal look at the landscape, figures and other artistic motifs.

Gonzalo de Amarante Costa develops a prominent part of his work through watercolours and washes on paper and cardboard. In September he presented the exhibition “50 Watercolours” at the Mengolero Hall of the Cuevas del Rodeo, a selection that allowed us to learn about his interest in landscape, figures and the expressive possibilities of this technique.

During these classes, the teacher will share his experience with the participants and offer an opportunity to learn, experiment and enjoy the creative process in an environment linked to the cultural activity of Rojales.
