HEALTH CONVERSATIONS IN ALZHEIMER’S MONTH

The Association of Relatives and Friends of People with Alzheimer’s of Torrevieja (AFA) will celebrate its 20th anniversary this September with a series of commemorative activities.

Among them, a talk on the health of Alzheimer’s patients stands out, which will take place on September 26 at the Casino Cultural Society of Torrevieja at 7:00 p.m.

The event will feature the participation of the following speakers:

• Rosa María Cañón Rodríguez, councillor of the Torrevieja City Council.
• Mirko Alavena Brou, neurologist at the Quirón Hospital in Torrevieja.
• Josefina Raga Forcadell, neurology nurse at the Quirón Hospital in Torrevieja.
• Silvia Fonseca Lavid, social worker at AFA Torrevieja.
• María de los Desamparados Pérez Vera, family doctor at La Mata Health Center.

Admission is free for all attendees, offering a unique opportunity to learn about caring for people with Alzheimer’s and raise awareness about the importance of their health and well-being.
