Hiking in the Historic Orchard of Rojales 2025

Come and discover the different crops of the Vega Baja and its traditional irrigation system on a hiking route that will allow you to discover up close how the fields are worked in the region and how water has been an essential element in life and development.

The activity will take place on September 21, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Rojales Fairgrounds

It is an ideal activity to make part of our local history known to our children. It is a circular route with start and end at the Rojales fairgrounds where you can park vehicles easily.

What are you going to discover?

• The different crops of the Vega Baja and how they change throughout the year.
• The traditional irrigation system, with its network of threads and ditches that are an essential part of the local agricultural history.
• A guided tour of the Huerta de Rojales Museum, to better understand our roots and cultural heritage.
