Novelda Modernista 2025
Immerse yourself in modernism in the IX edition of Novelda Modernista, to enjoy with your family the history, crafts, music, parades, competitions and magic of historical reenactments through the streets of Novelda.
The event will be held from 24 to 26 October 2025 in the old town and in the city’s emblematic modernist buildings
PROGRAMMING
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24
- 9:00 p.m. – Modernist Inaugural Gala Dinner at the Casino de Novelda Cultural Society. Gala menu with a pairing of dance and music, with the performance of the lyrical group Umbeldí de Fetén and collaboration of the Professional Conservatory of Dance of Novelda. Price: €35 per person.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25
- 11:00 a.m. – Opening Proclamation from the balcony of the City Hall.
- 11:00 a.m. – Recreation of the Traditional Market in the arcades of the City Hall.
- 12:00 p.m. – Vermouth session in the gardens of the Casino, enlivened by the group Vera Lu & Javier Bemejo.
- 12:00 p.m. – Recreation of the Verbenas del Casino by the Modernist Cultural Association of Novelda.
- 1:00 p.m. – Recreation of the Irrigation Water Auction in Plaça Vella.
- 1:30 p.m. – Children’s Workshop “Get to know the Spices”.
- 6:00 p.m. – Modernist Clothing Parade and VII Modernist Clothing Contest.
- 6:30 p.m. – IV AFN Photographic Marathon.
- 8:30 p.m. – Masquerade Ball at the Modernist House Museum.
- 9:30 p.m. – Free tourist train through the city and the Castle of La Mola.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26
- 11:00 a.m. – Opening of the Modernist Market.
- 11:30 a.m. – Traditional Wooden Games in Plaza Fernandina.
- 12:00 p.m. – Recreation of the Period Funeral.
- 12:30 p.m. – Guided tours of the Modernist House Museum and the Casa de los Caseros.
- 1:00 p.m. – Contests and Exhibition of Period Clothing.
- 1:30 p.m. – Children’s Participation in Historical Reenactments.
- 2:00 p.m. – Modernist Market and closing of activities.
- 6:00 p.m. – Farewell parade and musical entertainment.
- 7:00 p.m. – Closing of the Event.
