PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION COLORS OF THE WORLD

Photographic exhibition “Colors of the world”

The la Caixa Foundation presents “Colours of the World”, an open-air photography travelling exhibition made up of 42 snapshots by prestigious National Geographic photographers.

The exhibition can be visited from January 14 to February 20, 2026 at the Gabriel Miró roundabout in Orihuela.

The exhibition explores color as a central element of different cultures and landscapes around the world, inviting visitors to reflect on its symbolic and cultural significance.

It is organized into seven thematic areas, one for each color: yellow, orange, red, blue, violet, green and white. Each photograph, taken in places as diverse as Papua New Guinea, India, Chile or the Democratic Republic of Congo, reveals the cultural and natural richness of the planet, accompanied by texts that contextualize the meaning of colors throughout history.
