“Gaster-Nomos” is a photographic exhibition by local artist Carmen Armengol that fuses classic still life with contemporary photography, inviting us to reflect on the relationship between food, culinary tradition and the cultural norms that surround it.
The exhibition will be on display until October 24, 2025, in the Exhibition Hall of the Almoradí City Council
The exhibition brings together photographs that pay homage to agricultural labor, food preservation processes, and collective memory, conveying narratives about gratitude, fertility, community, and the history of local gastronomy.
Curated by Carmen Armengol herself, the exhibition highlights the cultural and aesthetic tradition of Almoradí, combining artistic sensitivity with social and heritage reflection.
