SOL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL Torrevieja 2024
From July 11 to 13, 2024, the X Film Festival “SOL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL” will be held in Torrevieja.
The program consists of 10 short films, 6 of them national and 4 international (France, Switzerland and Germany, Turkey, Brazil).
The Inauguration on July 11 will feature a Gala Dinner at the “Split Terrace” restaurant with the participation of all the invited filmmakers, red carpet, photocall, presentation of the selection of short films in competition, performance of guest singers with live music and special menu.

This event will be private and accessible only with advance admission.
On July 12, the short films of the official selection will be screened at the IMF CINEMAS in Torrevieja. The short films will be presented by their actors and directors and will be screened all in a row in O.V. (original version) with subtitles in Spanish or English for a duration of 2 hours 15 minutes.
There will also be 5 final works by the students of the Seminar “Making films with Smartphone” organized from March to May 2024 by the University Venue of Torrevieja (UA), the Torrevieja City Council and the Joaquín Chapaprieta Municipal Institute of Culture (Torrevieja) under the direction of director-screenwriter-producer Gustavo Gianni (Argentina).
Admission to all screenings and the meeting with their teams costs €6 and can be purchased at the CINES IMF box office or via the website www.solfilmfestival.com
The professional jury will evaluate the short films according to the awards (Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Jury Award). The public will be able to vote for the short film they like the most and it will receive the Audience Award during the Awards Ceremony on July 13 at the “Virgen del Carmen” cultural center (C/Del mar, 28 Torrevieja). The event will feature a red carpet, photocall, awards ceremony for the winners, performances by singers such as Lucía España (La Voz Kids, Got Talent), Zhanel Alí (La Voz Kids), Natalia Krylova (Latvia), among others.
