The Little Mermaid: A Musical Under the Sea

The family show “The Little Mermaid: a musical under the sea” by the company Fénix Producciones arrives in Orihuela

The show will take place at the Circus Theatre in Orihuela, on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 6:30 p.m

This adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic is designed for a family audience, combining music, dance and a colorful set to immerse the viewer in the underwater world of Ariel.

The plot of the story follows Ariel, a young mermaid and princess of the sea kingdom who dreams of knowing the human world. Her fascination increases when she falls in love with Prince Eric. Willing to do anything to live on the surface, Ariel makes a deal with Ursula, the sea witch, who grants her legs in exchange for her voice.

This adaptation is the work of the Spanish company Fénix Producciones, specialized in musical theater. He has produced shows such as “The Phantom of the Opera“, “Willy Wonka“, “Cinderella“, “A Christmas Carol” and “The Little Mermaid“.

The cast of “The Little Mermaid” is made up of: Iris Chavanel, Pedro Llaudes, Pablo Sevilla, Josh Sánchez and Marina Hodgson.
