Time change in Torrevieja: winter time begins on October 25

In the early hours of Sunday, October 25, the clocks will have to be set back one hour.

In Torrevieja and the rest of mainland Spain, at 03:00 it will be 02:00 again.

The change to winter time in 2026 will take place during the early hours of Sunday, October 25. In Torrevieja, when the clock strikes 03:00, it will be delayed by sixty minutes until 02:00. Due to this adjustment, Sunday will officially have 25 hours.

In the Canary Islands, the change is made one hour earlier: at 02:00 it will become 01:00. Most phones, computers and connected watches update the time automatically; analogue clocks and other handheld devices will need to be adjusted.

The date is part of the official calendar published in the Official State Gazette, which sets the end of the daylight saving time period from 2022 to 2026.
