These are the usual events that are held in Torrevieja on the occasion of the Carnival party:
- Friday, February 7 – Carnival Proclamation
- Saturday, February 8 – Coronation of the kings of the carnival and imposition of the golden shield
- Saturday, February 15 – Drag Queen Contest “Ciudad de Torrevieja”.
- Sunday, February 16 – “Teatrico del Carnaval” at the Municipal Theater
- Sunday, February 23 – Grand Carnival Parade
- Friday, February 28 – Parade of Foreign Comparsas
- Saturday, March 1 – Night Carnival Parade
- Sunday, March 2 – National contest of comparsas and chirigotas.
