Torrevieja hosts a new edition of “La Pelota Solidaria” for the benefit of GAEX
The Gastronomic Brotherhood of Cocido con Pelotas de Torrevieja will celebrate next Saturday, November 8, a new edition of “La Pelota Solidaria”.
For only 5 euros, attendees will be able to enjoy a bowl of broth with a ball, accompanied by a drink and bread.
The conference will take place at the facilities of Cárnicas Ríos, located in the Casa Grande Industrial Estate (Calle Josefa Rebollo Rodríguez, 32), from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. For only 5 euros, attendees will be able to enjoy a bowl of broth with a ball, accompanied by a drink and bread. All proceeds will go to support the GAEX Association (Group of Ex-Addicted Friends).
GAEX is a non-profit association from Torrevieja that works for the prevention, treatment and social reintegration of people with addiction problems. Their work includes psychological care, support for family members, training workshops and support programmes in the recovery process.
The initiative once again has the generous support of Cárnicas Ríos, which selflessly provides the products and infrastructures necessary to make this solidarity day possible.
Since its foundation in 2013, the Gastronomic Brotherhood of Cocido con Pelotas has worked to preserve and promote the tradition of Torrevieja stew, organizing activities that spread the value of this emblematic dish. On this occasion, the brotherhood invites all residents and visitors to participate in an event where flavor and solidarity go hand in hand.
