San Emigdio is co-patron of Torrevieja and protector against earthquakes
All events will be held in the Parque de las Naciones from August 4 to 7, 2022
PROGRAMME
- Thursday, August 4: Inauguration of the “Barraca Popular” at 9pm followed by a performance by the “Soul Dance” Academy of Torrevieja, a great raffle of gifts and the performance of a musical group.
- Friday, August 5: At 9:00 p.m., prize draw and performance by a musical group.
- Saturday, August 6: At 7pm., there will be a children’s entertainment event and a free snack will be offered to all the children in attendance. Then there will be another prize draw and a new musical performance.
- Sunday, August 7: At 8pm, in the Hermitage of San Emigdio (located inside the Parque de las Naciones) a Eucharist will be celebrated in honor of the co-patron of Torrevieja, followed by a solemn procession with the image of the saint accompanied by the band of the Musical Society “Ciudad de Torrevieja – Los Salerosos”.
After the procession, the festivities will end with a spectacular fireworks display.
