The novel ” The lost embraces” ´Los abrazos perdidos´ by Manoli Penalva, will be presented next Saturday, August 19 at the Casino de Torrevieja
Los Abrazos Perdidos is his first work outside the academic field.
Manoli Penalva has a degree in Social Work, is an expert in ageing and is a member of the Sociological Research Group of the University of Alicante.
She currently combines her work in health with research projects in the social field.
The novel ” Los abrazos `perdidos” is about a society in constant change. Economic crises with their consequences, natural disasters and global health crises.
Stories in which the harshness of reality is observed, and in which loneliness, isolation and the need for support become the main axis of the whole drama.
