Thanks jdncoke, I will pass this information to my solicitor to see if they can track them down. It obviously got to "HOT" for them on the Costa Blanca. If past performance is anything to go by they will resurface with some sort of scam to defraud unsuspecting people.

We experienced the Treagusts last summer , we turned up at their shop and they wern't there . So we had to wait around for over an hour ...as they never answered any fone . Then they put us for 3 nights in the wrong villa so we had to unpack and pack and then unpack again - they offered us no rebate and lied about the reason for the mix up , saying one of the owners had an emergency and had to move back in . It was complete lie since the neighbour told us they were holiday makers . The villa was in a state with all A/c broke or faulty , kitchen applicances were dangerous and the extra room was fit for the dog , not my 70 yo father in law . John Treagust never showed his face amid many complaints and to top it all he then stole our deposit despite many fone calls and emails . I would avoid anything to do with CostaLive or the Treagusts , they are lying robbing .....!!

dont pay him anything he is a con man ,you may not see the villa you paid for like many many others ..read the forum

hi ,no problem but today i recieved new info that they are in mojacar .it wont take long before we know the whereabouts ...my source tells me you read this john should have paid me what you owe before you left , you left me with another bill to pay ....next time you wont get nothing back .

Has anyone heard any more details on the whereabouts of John and Amanda. John called me a week ago and said that his solicitor has recommended that he settles the amount he owes me and he said that he would revert back within the following day or two with payment details. To date he has not reverted back and it is probadly just another stalling tactic which I know many have experienced prior to me.
His phone number was witheld " surprise surprise" so I cannot return his call. John and Amanda I know that you log on to this forum, just to let you know that I wont be giving up until such times as you pay me what you owe

Lets recap, Amanda and yourself owe me a substantial amount of money from renting my property when you were operating Costablancalive FACT. You both left my property in a disgusting condition and failed to return the keys FACT My solicitor sent to you both a Burofax detailing monies owed to me and demanding payment FACT Additionally my solicitor demanded that you remove my property from your website as it was being illegally advertised and you were breaking the law FACT. You emailed me stating that your solicitor advised that you settle the monies you owe me FACT You phoned me as above FACT I have documentary evidence of all of that has been stated FACT. Nice try John your threat of legal action is music to my ears and I still want the money you owe me FACT

Has anyone any ideas on local forums to contact, also estate agents associations and any other local bodies where awareness can be raised on the antics of John and Amanda Treagust. I know who is web hosting "Anewplacetostay.com" and will be contacting them in due course to appraise them of one of their clients.
