Torrevieja suffered a huge earthquake on Saturday, March 21, 1829 at 6:15 in the morning
On this dramatised historical route, you will get to know the town of Torrevieja from the first third of the nineteenth century.
On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. you have an appointment to learn about the recent history of Torrevieja.
The group of actors from Ars Creatio will represent the historical route “1829, Torrevieja trembles“, in which a series of characters from the time will come to life to say what happened during the days of the earthquake that also affected the rest of the municipalities of the Vega Baja.
