Most cultural activities in Torrevieja are celebrated at its local theatre.
It is a wonderful building created by the architects Alejandro Zaera Polo and Antonio Marqueríe Tamayo, which was started in December 2003 and covers a surface of 1100 m2 including the redesigned Miguel Hernández Square.
The local theatre has got a main room which can hold up to 650 people, a well-lit rehearsal room with a 400 m2 surface, a press room, 2 multipurpose rooms, a VIP area, 8 individual dressing rooms, 4 common dressing rooms, 2 vocalization rooms, an orchestra pit, storage rooms and 2 office floors with 7 individual offices, 2 archives, a meeting room and a waiting area. These offices are occupied by the Department of Culture, the Local Culture Institute and the Vista Alegre magazine. The scenery has got a surface of nearly 400 m2 and has been equipped with state of the art scenery equipment.

Show more clear theatre program for 2-3 month.We know everything about building but it is very difficult to find program.
This same problem is with auditorium.
The ability to book tickets online would be helpful.
