Rafael Martin is a master in damascene, an ancient Damascus technique that uses gold sheets and threads on metal.
His work is a mixture of still lifes, landscapes, seascapes and much more.
Born in France and living in Toledo, he began his career at the School of Fine Arts and Crafts in Toledo.
He has won several outstanding awards and his work has been exhibited in places such as Mexico and France.
