First chapter of the stew rested in Torrevieja 2026
The Gastronomic Brotherhood of Cocido con Pelotas celebrates the first chapter of its cocido reposado.
The event will be on Saturday, October 24 at Cárnicas Ríos, with a full menu and live music.
The Gastronomic Brotherhood of Cocido con Pelotas has organized for Saturday, October 24, 2026 the first chapter of its reposado stew, a day around traditional cuisine that will take place at the Cárnicas Ríos venue, in Torrevieja.
Founded in 2013, the Brotherhood continues to work to promote and preserve one of the most deeply rooted culinary traditions of Torrevieja: the ancestral recipe of cocido con pelotas. This dish is part of the local identity and is traditionally consumed on special dates, such as the Day of the Immaculate Conception.
The full menu costs 35 euros and includes an appetizer, food, drink and dessert. The activity will begin at 1:00 p.m. From 4:30 p.m., the program will continue with live music, dance show and entertainment.
