Pau Viguer Trio in Torrevieja: Palace Friday 2026
Pau Viguer Trio inaugurates the Viernes de Palacio Jazz Festival in Torrevieja
The Valencian pianist and composer opens the cycle on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., at the Palacio de la Música.
The first concert of Viernes de Palacio will feature the Pau Viguer Trio, a group that places its own compositions at the centre of its repertoire. Their music is based on jazz and talks with influences from classical, pop, blues and flamenco.
Pau Viguer has developed a career as a pianist and composer within the Valencian scene. With his trio he has built a language in which melody and the freedom to improvise coexist with rhythms and colours from different styles. His work Muy delicado was selected for the JazzEñe 2017 exhibition of the SGAE Foundation.
The performance offers a gateway to the more personal side of contemporary jazz: pieces that are enjoyed both for the dialogue between the musicians and for their ability to tell stories without words.
