The National Police in Alicante has arrested a fugitive from Denmark who had a European Arrest and Surrender Order in force
Agents of the National Police have arrested in Alicante a fugitive accused in Denmark of sexually assaulting his underage daughter.
The detainee, of Icelandic origin, forced the girl to have sexual relations, he also hit her in the body causing serious injuries.
These attacks were carried out between 2006 and 2010 in both Iceland and Denmark.
Sentenced to 12 years in prison for possession of child pornography and sexual offenses, he also had a European Arrest and Surrender Order imposed by the Danish authorities.
After several days of investigation and surveillance, the National Police managed to arrest him in the vicinity of his home in the town of Benisa (Alicante).
